Thursday is the last day to vote for the California Young Reader Medal. This is an award voted on by students all over California in several different age categories. You must read all three books in a category to vote in that category. Come see Mrs. Gilchrist if you would like to cast your vote.
In connection with last month's YANovCon, the public library is sponsoring a short story contest. See the details below. Check in with Mrs. Gilchrist if you have any questions.
2022 YANovCon Short Story Guidelines:
- Open to 6-12 graders who reside in San Mateo County.
- Submit your own original work of 500 words or less.
- Stories can be realistic, sci-fi, fantasy, mystery, dystopian, or whatever you come up with!
- This year's theme: Identity

- Submissions accepted through Monday, April 11, 2022.
