The elementary schools held their Battle of the Books finals last night. Now, get ready for Crocker's Battle of the Books 2023. A student and a staff member are given the same pair of books to read, and then they meet to decide which book moves forward in the brackets. Mrs. Gilchrist is looking for students and staff members to serve as judges. Sign up ASAP, so you can take books home over Spring Break. This year's battle is all graphic novels. If you want to vote for this year's California Young Reader Medal, you must submit your pick(s) by Friday. Mrs. Gilchrist has to submit our votes before Spring Break. See the display in the library to see if you've read the titles. You must read all three books in a category to be able to vote in that category. See Mrs. Gilchrist if you have any questions.
