Due to the surprise Yosemite meeting on Tuesday we will have a 2nd Chess Club meeting today, Thursday, in Lab 5A. No need to have signed up, the club is open to all. This meeting will start at the beginning of lunch and will be "first come first serve" for chess boards and if we exceed seats in the classroom we will not allow more people to enter.
Remember if you come you must return your boards as you found them (set up with all pieces, if they came off the shelf that way, or return all pieces to the bags). We have also been having issues with food waste/packages being left behind. Please clean up after yourself!
We will be handing out awards to some of the players from the tournament. There are more than just 1st place prizes!
Congratulations to Allison, Brian, Micheal, Noah, Karson, & Stephan the winners of their tournament groups. And the following people should stop by for a fun prize: Isabella, Deven D, David, Mr. Carroll, Arabella, Kolin, Ethan, Candice, & Daniel.
