From the Burlingame Public Library-
On Sunday, April 16th from 1:30-3:00pm, Teens in Grades 6-12 are invited to join the Burlingame Library Teen Advisory Board in viewing a short documentary about the Holocaust created by BHS students, and learning how to stand against hate and anti-semitism so that it never happens again. We will then be painting ceramic butterflies of hope and remembrance to create a community art piece that will be displayed in the library to commemorate Yom HaShoah.**
*Yom HaShoah is the annual day of remembrance to honor the six million Jews killed in the Holocaust. **Special thank you to BHS Ceramics Instructor Deborah Stanley Edwards for her help firing the ceramic butterflies after they are painted!
