Friday, April 12th is D.E.A.R. Day (Drop Everything And Read.) It is celebrated each year on author Beverly Cleary's birthday because D.E.A.R. time was featured in her Ramona books. Please take some time on Friday to read something for fun, or come into the library to tell Mrs. Gilchrist about the great book you are reading.
Tomorrow is Overdue Day. Please double check your backpack and locker for overdue books. Return them, so someone else can read them, too. If you have lost books, be sure to clear your account with Mrs. Gilchrist before our end of the year activities.
Entries for the Draw a Picture of a Bird Contest are due Friday by lunch. See Mrs. Gilchrist or Ms. Alich if you have any questions.
The library is closed at lunch recess today due to our trivia team competition. Sorry, no spectators allowed.
