REMINDER: DRESS CODE

When getting ready for the school day, please remember -

Some clothing is not appropriate for school and interferes with an environment conducive to learning. The following dress code applies equally to students of any gender

Clothing should allow students a full range of motion — sitting, bending, reaching, and running — without requiring frequent readjustment or exposing undergarments or private parts.

Shirts or tops must be worn at all times and must cover the entire torso (stomach, back, and chest).

Clothing with disruptive or unhealthy logos or words, including offensive language, pictures, or references to alcohol, smoking, vaping, or other drugs is prohibited.

For health and safety reasons, shoes must be worn at all times,

Hats, hoods, caps, and other head coverings shall not cover the face unless for religious or health purposes.

Hoods are not to be worn in class.

Students asked to change their attire by staff must comply immediately by changing into their gym clothes. A referral may be issued and an administrator will be involved if a student fails to comply or if the dress code is repeatedly disregarded.

Thank you for cooperating,
