There is a speaker coming this Wednesday, October 2 in the lecture hall during lunch about marine science. Here are some details if you would like to attend :
Rachel Graham, founder of MarAlliance, a nonprofit organization, will be coming to Crocker! For over three decades, Rachal has lived in Central America and worked with local fishermen to identify solutions that address threatened wildlife while benefiting coastal communities. In this presentation, Rachel will discuss preserving Marine biodiversity and aiding the local economy. Attend this presentation to see cool marine videos and get 1 hour of service learning hours. Donuts will be provided to the first 50 students to come.
This is our first speaker series for Service Learning this year. Our focuses are on environmental impact and supporting Veterans. Take care.
