To show Crocker and Halloween spirit, students are allowed to wear costumes to school on Thursday, October 31st only. School rules regarding the Dress Code must be followed. Please consider the dress code when planning your Halloween costume.
The following applies equally to students of any gender:
- Clothing must allow students a full range of motion — sitting, bending, reaching, and running — without requiring frequent readjustment or exposing undergarments or private parts.
- Clothing with disruptive or unhealthy logos or words, including offensive language, pictures, or references to alcohol, smoking, or other drugs is prohibited.
- Clothing with political messages/slogans should be avoided as they may be controversial.
- For health and safety reasons, shoes must be worn at all times.
- Hats & hoods may be worn as part of the costume, but masks are not allowed.
- ALL costume preparations are to be completed at home. (No dressing or applying of make-up or colored hairspray once students arrive at school).
- No real or fake weapons (nunchucks/sickles/swords/bats/knives/guns, etc.) are allowed on campus. If brought to school, they will be confiscated.
- No bikes, skateboards, scooters, toy vehicles, etc. allowed even if part of the costume.
