Save-the-Date – Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day
On Tuesday, November 14th, you are invited to join the Hillsborough City School District (HCSD) community, and hundreds of thousands of students across the country, for Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day, celebrating the civil rights icon’s brave walk to school as she became one of the first Black children to integrate an all-white school in New Orleans. So, on November 14, put on your PURPLE and join us to walk/ride to school, to promote safe, inclusive schools and communities for all!
