Reminder: Dress Code

Good morning, Crocker,

When getting ready for the school day, please remember the following -

• Some clothing is not appropriate for school and interferes with an environment conducive to learning. The following dress code applies equally to students of any gender.
• Clothing should allow students a full range of motion — sitting, bending, reaching, and running — without requiring frequent readjustment or exposing undergarments or private parts.
• Shirts or tops must be worn at all times and must cover the entire torso (stomach, back, and chest).
• Clothing with disruptive or unhealthy logos or words, including offensive language, pictures, or references to alcohol or other drugs is prohibited.
• For health and safety reasons, shoes must be worn at all times,
• Hats, hoods, caps, and other head coverings shall not cover the face unless for religious or health purposes.
• Hoods are not to be worn in class.

Students asked to change their attire by staff must comply immediately by changing into their gym clothes or a shirt from the office. A referral may be issued, and an administrator may be involved if a student fails to comply or if the dress code is repeatedly disregarded.
