February 28th is the deadline to submit applications for the Burlingame- Hillsborough Youth Poet Laureate position. If you like poetry and are civic minded, this prestigious position might be for you. See Mrs. Gilchrist for more information.
What can you do in the library for rainy day recess? Work on the jigsaw puzzle, do a word search, lots of coloring, check out the new artwork on display in the case, work on your February reading challenge, check out a book to read this weekend since it should be continued rainy weather, ask Mrs. Gilchrist for cards or board games, read a book about the Olympics, and soooo much more! Come on in out of the rain.
