The California Young Reader Medal voting is underway. If you have read all three books in a category, you can vote for that category and help choose the winner. Most book awards like the Newbery and the Caldecott are awarded by a committee of adults who choose the best books for kids. This award is chosen by student readers all over California. Come check out the display in the library, and see if you have read any of the books. Votes are due before we leave for Spring Break. See Mrs. Gilchrist for more information or to cast your vote.
Pi Day study sheets are available in the library. See Mrs. Gilchrist to sign up for the Pi Digit contest next Thursday 3/12.
Today is Overdue Day. Check your backpack and locker and turn in your books. There are lots of new books in the library. Come swap out your late books for something new.
