Good morning, 8th-graders,
Thank you for doing a terrific job at graduation practice on Monday. We were really impressed with how well you listened, followed directions, and represented your class—you are truly ready for high school.
Please review the schedule and expectations for Tuesday, June 16:
Periods 1–3:
Follow your regular schedule of classes.
Period 4:
Go directly to your Period 4 class. Your teacher will take attendance and then walk you down to the MPR. Please leave backpacks and all belongings outside your classroom. Teachers, please stay for lunch and help with supervision.
Lunch:
You will enjoy a special lunch provided by 8th-grade parents. After lunch and clean-up, we will remain in the MPR to watch the memory video created by Mr. Slater. Following the video, you will have time to relax on the blacktop or courtyard and sign yearbooks.
1:30 PM Dismissal:
8th-graders only will be dismissed to the blacktop to be picked up and begin getting ready for graduation.
4:15 PM Arrival at SMPAC:
Arrive at SMPAC and wait in the courtyard near the parking lot.
4:30 PM Line-Up:
Line up on the correct side in the correct order. Staff will be available to support and guide you.
5:00 PM Graduation Ceremony:
Enter SMPAC and enjoy your graduation ceremony. Please be mindful of construction scaffolding when entering and exiting.
6:15 PM Dismissal:
Exit SMPAC through the lobby.
We are excited to celebrate this milestone with you today.
