Theme: Mending Magic
Cast a spell on something worn, torn, or broken! Illustrate the magic of mending and turning damaged items into beautifully repaired artwork.
Contest Categories
Elementary School Individual: Grades 3–5
Middle School Individual: Grades 6–8
Class Category: Grades 3–8 classes
Poster Requirements
General: 2D original hand-drawn artwork only (paint, markers, colored pencils, crayons). No computer graphics or copyrighted material.
Individual Posters: 8.5 x 11 inches, white paper, landscape orientation.
Class Posters: Max 3 x 4 feet, paper or poster board, landscape orientation.
Submissions & Key Dates
Submission Window: September 1st – September 28th, 2026 (by 11:59 p.m.)
How to Submit: Upload a clear, high-resolution photo or scan via the RethinkWaste online form. (Keep original posters for collection if selected as a winner!)
Winners Announced: Mid-October 2026
Art Gallery Exhibition: October 17th, 2026 at the Rethink Recycling Day Event
