Dear 7th Grade Students,
I was so impressed with our WEB candidates! The interviewers were well prepared and everyone seemed confident and capable! I know the team selecting the WEB leaders for next year will have a very difficult time narrowing down to 32 leaders out of the 97 applicants! That said, I want to make sure 7th graders who are interested in leadership positions know they will have other opportunities to participate in leadership roles. One in particular is to participate in the Crocker Advisory Group. This is a very important group that can impact Crocker School at all grade levels! We meet once a month and you can start participating now. Our next meeting is March 29th at lunch. I also know Ms. Slater will have other opportunities for leadership candidates that are not WEB leaders. So please, continue to aspire to leadership roles and keep an open mind as to the variety of ways you can lead at Crocker. I can assure you, if we could have 97 WEB leaders – you would all be wonderful – but we cannot. So if this opportunity does not work out…...please look for the next one…Crocker needs all of you leading the way for a great school!
