In case you are wondering about the fire alarm functionality, Mr. Ron Russo, HCSD Director of Maintenance sent me the following feedback:
The fire alarm system is NOT broken.
All devices that are connected to the fire alarm are still active and monitoring the school at all times.
The only fire alarm pull that is not working is in the office.
Daily, we are conducting hourly checks and a fire watch log to make sure the front office is safe until the alarm pull is repaired.
All other locations are either smoke sensors or heat sensors.
The fire department will show if any of the devices are activated.
We are doing our best to repair the broken pull in the main office and appreciate your inquiry and concern for everyone’s safety.
