6th and 7th graders will have an opportunity to select their electives for next year online. We will open the PowerSchool Portal on Monday, May 21th. The portal for registration will be open from May 21st to May 29th.
Today, you will receive a hard copy of the elective form in your 6th period class so we can double check all entries. This form should be turned into the office once you have logged in you choices online. Please note: You are just requesting courses - You have the entire week and it is not a first come, first serve.

Online Registration for the 2018-2019 School year.
· Log onto the PowerSchool Portal
· On the left hand side click on Class Registration
· Please note the additional requests at the bottom of this screen (science, English, social studies and PE) have already been selected for your student
· Math placements have not been finished so your child’s math placement will be added later by the school personnel
· You will be registering for electives and World Language only.
· For World Language please select your World Language choice for 2018-2019. NOTE: Spanish 3A needs prior teacher approval.
· If you DO NOT take a World Language please leave this section blank.
· To register keep in mind the following ways to register:
Ø You can register for Trimester Only electives. If you choose this option select 6 electives from either the 8th Grade Trimester Electives. Click on the pencil on the right and select your 6 trimester electives and press okay. The electives you chose will show up on the registration page.
Ø If you would like to do only one trimester elective, please select 3 from this field.
Ø If you do not want a trimester elective, please leave blank.
Ø For 8th Grade Elective Alternates, please click on the pencil to the right of this row. Select your 5 choices and hit okay. Please note that there are two pages for these requests.
Ø If you are choosing yearlong electives, please click on the pencil on the right. Note that HTV and Band courses need prior teacher approval.
Ø If you choose 1 yearlong elective please make sure to choose 3 trimester electives as well.
Ø If you choose 2 yearlong electives please DO NOT choose trimester electives.
