On Monday, in your 6th period classes, Soldier Care package collecting begins! Oct 22-Nov 12th! Your Comm. Service Rep will put a collection box in your classroom!
This year, you can bring anything on the WISH LIST for the soldier's holiday boxes! Beef jerkey, Slim Jims, candy (not chocolate), mints, sunflower seeds, nuts, cookies, Pringles, Mio water flavors, puzzle books, crossword books, Sodoku books, magazines, eye drops, cough medicine, foot powder, snacks, breakfast and power bars, Nissan Cup of Noodles, uneaten Halloween candy! (or Day-After-Halloween 50% off candy!) etc. Your 6th period teacher and your 6th period Community Service Rep in your classroom will receive a copy of the WISH LIST TO POST IN THEIR CLASSROOM.
Please be generous. This is often the only holiday gift our troops in Afghanistan will receive from home this season. We will also be holding a "Wear Jeans for the Troops" day during this time period, and asking each Crocker student to write a letter to a soldier during FLEX or their English classes. Deadline is November 12...don't wait!
