Today is Pickle Day!!
Did you know…. In 2030 BC cucumbers were first imported from India to the Tigris Valley? There they were first preserved and eaten as pickles. If you like pickles, join us in the courtyard for pickle samples, and then vote for your favorite. Which pickle will be this year’s winner? Please remember to use your best manners when waiting for your samples. If you have any food allergies, see Ms. Gilchrist for an ingredient list. If we are on shelter in place by lunchtime, pickles will be in the MPR.
Tomorrow, we’ll be celebrating Mickey Mouse’s 90th birthday. Come to the library at lunch tomorrow for Mickey Mouse cartoons. We’ll look at how Mickey has changed through the years. You won’t want to miss it. Wear your favorite Mickey shirt and get a high five from Ms. Gilchrist J
