Message From Dr. Adams

On the first day of school we all wrote Essential Outcome goals and reflections to that end. Monday, January 28th we are taking time to revisit these goals. I have kept your original goals and I will be returning them to you for your consideration. In order to give time for your goal reflection and evaluation of personal growth in the areas you identified, we will run a minimum day bell schedule, thus providing a 7th period, 2:20 – 3:20 at the end of the day. 6th and 7th graders will go back to their 1st period classes for this 7th period and 8th graders will stay in their 6th period classes. (There will be a 5 minute passing period/break after 6thperiod.)

Once settled into your classes, your teacher will pass back your original goals. Please revisit them – decide whether or not you have made growth – think about next steps – and then write a comprehensive reflection. I expect a thoughtful reflection and I am looking forward to reading them and responding in return. Your teachers will have extra Essential Outcome Goal sheets in case you did not attend the first day of school or your goal sheet ends up in a different class due to a schedule change.

The Essential Outcomes are core to your development and I greatly appreciate your efforts in identifying and putting energies towards accomplishing your goals!

Have a great day!

Dr. Adams
