Taiko Drummers Here Today!

7th grade Social Studies classes will enjoy a performance of Japanese Taiko drumming in the MPR during 1st, 3rd, 5th and 6th periods TODAY, Tuesday, February 5th.   The set includes a PowerPoint lesson and a performance of 4 or 5 musical arrangements for the drums, played by alumni student Carissa Chen and her Taiko troupe.   These students are taking a day off from high school to perform for Crocker's 7th graders, but teachers and other classes are also invited to attend.
