The 2024 California Young Reader Medals have been awarded. This is a book award where the nominees and the winners are chosen by students all over California. Consider adding these titles to your summer reading list.
Young Adult winner- I'm Not Dying With You Tonight by Kimberly Jones and Gilly Segal
Middle School winner- Alone by Megan E. Freeman (several Crocker students have loved this book)
Intermediate winner- Across the Desert by Dusti Bowling
