Here are the DREAM Job Breakdowns
The DREAM LEADER list is out and here is some information about this important group:
These leaders will run the 6th Grade WEB day on May 29th from 9-1:30pm. Their job will be to check in with their students regularly and run lessons and activities for the 6th graders throughout the year. They will be in charge of the following: academic follow up with 6th graders (specific data driven lessons from the WEB program), social follow ups which will be once a trimester that are for all 6th graders together, and leader initiated contacts which are informal check ins with their specific WEB group. The WEB program specifically states that WEB leaders should be a mixture of all the diverse groups on campus and should not be an off-shoot of the student council. The rationale for this is so that each 6th grader will be able to identify with one or more of the leaders.
Sportsmanship Leaders
These students are required to run activities during lunch for the 2025-2026 school year and help with clubs. Their job will be to create fun and engaging activities that all students want to participate in. They will help to promote sportsmanship during recess and lunch. They will promote these activities on the Crocker Buzz and HTV.
Retreat Leaders
These students will meet with Mrs. Slater to plan and implement the 6th, 7th and 8th grade retreats. They will survey students about retreat ideas. They will lead ALL retreats and create and find all the information for the activities. This group will also be responsible for College Week Activities and Passion Day.
Peer to Peer Leaders
These students will meet once a month with the Principal, Vice Principal, Counselor and Leadership teacher to discuss current issues at Crocker. They will welcome new students to Crocker, be best buddies with a Learning Center student at least once a month and assist students that are injured or have been out ill for a long period of time. This group will be a mentor to a student new to Hillsborough and work with our Learning Center students. They will also help to recognize staff on campus making a difference.
Civic Engagement Leaders
Civic engagement involves “working to make a difference in the civic life of one’s community and developing the combination of knowledge, skills, values and motivation to make that difference. It means promoting the quality of life in a community through community service and service learning.
